Subject to our Terms and applicable law, we do not use submitted lists to send marketing, sell addresses to data brokers, build unrelated databases, contact listed individuals, or independently market to them.

Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect, upload, submit, and process email addresses through Accuracy.

5. How We Use InformationInformation is used to operate, secure, support, bill, and improve the Services and meet legal obligations.

Where permitted by law, aggregated or de-identified information may be used for analytics, security, reliability, capacity planning, and product improvement.

  • Process verification requests, generate results, manage jobs, operate the API, and calculate credit use
  • Process payments and invoices and provide customer support
  • Detect fraud and unauthorized access, enforce rate limits, secure infrastructure, diagnose errors, and improve performance
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims
6. Data Retention and DeletionBulk-verification data follows the retention periods configured in the deployed service.

By default, an original bulk-upload source file is scheduled for deletion 7 days after processing completes. A generated result export is scheduled for deletion after 30 days, and row-level verification items are scheduled for deletion after 7 days.

An incomplete upload is treated as abandoned after 24 hours and its stored object or multipart upload is removed by the cleanup process. Bulk-job metadata is assigned a 365-day expiry.

These periods are deployment settings and may be reduced to zero. Deletion occurs when the scheduled cleanup process handles the expired record or object. Account, authentication, support, security, and billing records are not covered by these bulk-data periods and are retained only for the operational purpose for which they were collected while their final schedules are established.

  • Source upload: 7 days by default
  • Result export: 30 days by default
  • Row-level verification items: 7 days by default
  • Abandoned upload: 24 hours by default
  • Bulk-job metadata expiry: 365 days by default

Information may be shared with service providers only where needed to operate, store, secure, monitor, or support the Services.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, government authorities when legally required, to protect users or investigate incidents, during a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.

8. SecurityWe use administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect information.

Measures may include HTTPS or TLS in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, secret management, API authentication, rate limiting, monitoring, backups, infrastructure isolation, restricted production access, vulnerability management, and incident response.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Customers must also protect their accounts, API keys, devices, and exported verification data.

Security issues can be reported to security@accuracy.email.
